Let’s begin the discussion on the War in the holy land.
1st off I must admit I have zero dog in the fight, meaning I am neither Israeli nor Palestinian. I am neither Jewish nor Muslim.
Those points being clear, I am however a human member of the world human race as are all of you reading this post today.
I have mentioned holy land and that is only because of the biblical ideas of Jerusalem and the whole 1500 year old idea of how the Jewish people have some ancient right to lands etc.
Why are the general public afraid to state clearly any opinions that are contrary to Israeli occupation?
Why are those who are not biblically or religiously involved so slow to take action against an oppressor?
We are all very aware of what has taken place in the lands of Palestine over the past 75 years or are we?
The lands of Palestine were given to the Jewish community having been further displaced in Europe after the Hitler debacle. Yes the holocaust, we all are aware of how that went and how horrible it was. Though it has now come around full circle. We have since the 1940’s seen the shrinking of the lands of Palestine as they became more and more settled by Israeli nationals. The Jewish community predominately occupy now more than 50% of Plestinian lands through justified occupation, justified only by some ancient ideology of the “promised land” and the ideas that it was their land by birthright.
Current times 2023 we have seen an attack on Israeli nationals by a terrorist group known as HAMAS. We have all seen news coverage of a dispicable terror attack on Israeli nationals. Dispicable, to say the least.
This has been followed by an absolute genocide attack on the Palestinian people under the title of WAR, further justified by the terms of WAR that a sovereign nation has the right to defend itself.
When we look back to the Nazi regime we saw Jewish people have their communities walled in. We saw the wearing of arm bands to identify themselves while out in public and an all around limited movement within their own cities and towns under persecution at the hands of the Nazi regime.
We have now today witnessed the Palestinian people being walled in in their own communities and restricted movement of Palestinians within their own lands and towns and cities.
The abused has become the abuser.
In 2023 we have learned nothing as a humanity based society of the world that the cycle of abuse can only be rectified by making subtle changes in the behavior and breaking the cycle of abuse. All the while we sit at home in our luxurious lives while innocent civilians of Palestine are being persecuted and besieged by Israeli attacks. Bombs dropping, soldiers walking among the innocent civilians who fear they will be taken or even worse shot dead. The crime they are held guilty for is that they are Palestinian and nothing more and there is deep rooted hatred from Israeli soldiers towards all Palestinian people. The civilians have genuine fears of being killed. Kind of like how Israel will not allow Palestinian people fly out from Tel-Aviv and orders them to fly out from Jordan as the Israelis fear all Palestinians too.
The bombing of Gaza by Israel must come to an end for the sake of and because of laws that exist in the world of Human rights.
Where are the woke world when innocent children are being killed by way of airstrike and ground offensive
Allow me to draw a small comparison to make the issue a little clearer.
I may be permitted under law to kill somebody if indeed it is out of an act of self defense.(Israel has a right to defend itself).
Though when my attacker no longer poses as the immediate threat to an immediate end to my life, I no longer have the excuse of self defense as I then rapidly change from potential victim to aggressor. And the self defense rules will not support my killing another human.
Israel is no longer under threat of attack such as that of October 7th 2023. Although it could be argued that they have indeed become more at risk due to their mass murdering of Palestinian civilians while they have now become very much so the aggressor.
Hamas will not end as we have seen the gruesome scenes of young Palestinian children holding in their arms their dead siblings and friends. What is being created by Israel? Further hatred of Israel from the next generation of Palestine’s young people. More Hamas perhaps and continued war?
Once upon a time not to long ago following world war 2, the world wondered what to do with displaced Jewish people and the decision was made to give them the lands of Israel. Since that time the Israeli occupation and persecution of Palestinian has never ceased.
I do not support Hamas and it’s terrorists attacks on innocent Israeli people. I do not support the continued genocidal “offensive” military strikes of the Israeli defense forces against the Palestinian people.
What next? Continued displacement of Palestinian people and more Jewish settlements in the country of Palestine?
In the name of humanity of our world community. I call for the ceasefire to be ongoing.
In the name of human rights, I call for the retreat of Israeli troops to their own borders.
In the name of children’s rights, I call for an immediate removal of all Israeli forces from Palestine and an immediate cessation of air strikes and bombing.
I call for all of these because I do not care what some ancient religious teaching states. I have zero regard for those who justify or support in any way the killing of innocent children. And to clarify once again I am not a Hamas supporter. And I am not anti Jewish.
I see the facts, I see the hatred and I am appalled to be part of a global community that permits such genocide to occur in plain view for all to see and do nothing.
Shame on every country of the world for NOT TAKING A STAND against the continued persecution of Palestinian people and the further occupation of Palestine as a country.
There is NO JUSTIFICATION plausible for this WAR effort.
