New year.
So many resolutions to dream up and pass away the day thinking on the whole brand new year ahead.
My mind is drawn out of my personal goals and towards a number of distractions. The israeli military slaughtering of people, the palestinian people.
Where does the money go? How is this any different to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Oh yes, I got it, the difference is that the israel / Palestine situation is different in so far as, it is much worse.
Killing vast amounts of Palestinian children serves who and why? Perhaps the average age of Hamas recruitment is 10 years of age. So, if the israeli military kill off all the children then they will eventually through the decades rid their home of Hamas terrorist threats?
Some mess that! A super power military force scared of the future generation. And how is it that there is no demand to look at the financial trails and gains of political figure heads of state within israel? Where are the embargos to bring a ceasefire and a complete halt to the war effort and war crimes? What have children done to deserve such a masacre? Be born is their crime?
Those in support of israel at these times ought to be ashamed of themselves. To scream and shout mass murder over the October 7th attack on israeli civilians means the sentiment of grief and loss is only one sided. The Palestinian fathers and mothers do not deserve the same empathy? Who in the fuck is writing the rules here? I am a father who has lost my children to death by tragic acccidents and I can safely say that to grieve for a child is one of the single most difficult things any parent will ever do in life. Yet if I call out any person for their support of israel I am becoming antisemetic and this is unacceptable ever since the slaughtering of jewish people back in WW11 times. In short what has been good for the goose is not good for the gander. The jewish people in support of all that the israeli military has inflicted on Palestine thus far ought to be called out and highlighted strongly for all the world to know too.
The war crimes need to be adressed and the embargos need be set in place.
Why so? Because I stated so here in a blog post? Absolutely not.
Simply because it is fundamentally WRONG on a humanitarian level that which is happening and it is humanely WRONG on every level. All of us who believe in democracy have a moral obligation to stand up for the rights of children globally.This is not to be confused or prejudiced by any religious belief or creed. Childrens rights supercede all other elements here in this situation followed closely by humanitarian rights.
We live in the digital age and we have all understood this for quite some time. October 7th to 1/1/24 is a long time to have passed to find “immediate resolve”. Where is the immediate and up to the minute response in our digital age? It takes more than two months to stop such a massacre?
Ridiculous nonsense from all of our own political parties in allowing this to continue any longer. Call all of your representatives out on the matter and demand civil societal rights be enforced immediately, that means within minutes, as we live in a digital world of up to the second communications. The world has failed the people of Palestine and the children of Palestine.
