Making sense ~ Making cents

Making sense ~ Making cents ???

Sometimes the world and everything in it will make sense to me, perhaps it happens for you too sometimes?
Then there are other times when nothing at all makes any sense. Have you ever had those kind of days?
What people say, what people do makes no sense at all, nothing adds up and the mind can be baffled completely.

Then I began to wonder about how come somedays I am on and everyrhing works like the snap of my fingers have gained that “I dream of Jeannie” magic and other days are a mine field of mindfcuk?

The kicker being, how come I can spend so much time diving in to when it does not make sense? I am solution orientated and so when nothing is adding up, I believe somewhere inside of me it must make sense so I will devote more of my time and find the solution and figure it out. Perhaps you recognise early that things make no sense and move away immediately and on to the next quest. I have found with myself that when it does not make sense I will become stuck a little while doing rhe figuring it out piece. Then the magic of how when it all makes sense I never question it at all, why would you? Especially when all is flowing so sweet and beautiful.

This is what brought me back to how we kind of by default go off on the negative tangents a little too much in our lives. We do not question when all is flowing in the direction we desire and we can become bogged down a little too much when we are challenged. I like to find answers and so this could be my default too,.the more difficult to figure it out the more involved I become.
Hey that’s just me and perhaps you can share your own wisdom with me today on strategy to continue to perform well whether it makes sense or not.

Then I got to thinking about how about making cents, yup making dollars. There are so many times I will offer up my time and my wisdom and my knowledge to share with or dive in to another persons issue or difficulty and not make any cents while making sense.
Weird isn’t it?
I do believe in sharing and when a time presents itself to share time and knowledge with another then I dive right in.as I love to “help”. To be human to other humans and offer what I cam when I can and if I can then I absolutely will.
This can bring me to a place of great wheel spinning, energy wasting on others and then this begins to make no sense to me while making no cents for my efforts.
Some people have mastered the art of charging people for their time and their efforts, perhaps for me I always feel that my job in life is to present when and where I can. Be present, offer presence, offer presents and do what I can if I can. Who could ever fault me for this. It is a generous nice way to be and believing in the good of other people is a nice place to be in life, it brings a nice feeling to my world.
Though it surely does not pay the bills.
Do I become more stingy with my time and effort?
Do I charge more for my wisdom?
Do I become well paid for my efforts?

There is another concept that I have always been aware of that is when somebody gets a ton of help for free or for nothing they do not value the assistance as much as when they have to pay for it. They are not financially invested in it so they do not treat it as real. When we have to pay for something we hold it in higher regard.

I have been toying with the idea for some several years now of transitioning into a new space in my life, one in where I charge to help. I have always felt my true value came from helping for free as this is what adds the value to my own life. When I can then I should. Something dawned on me then that said ~ wait a minute ~ Nobody will ever pay for  the cow if you keep giving the milk away for free, right?

My life journey has come to me by way of tremenduous price and cost. Therefore I can still offer assistance, guidance and help in many situations though it is not written that it has to be for free. The true value another will hold regard in is by paying. Therefore we can make sense and make cents all while helping and doing for others just the same as we have always done.

What say you and where do you find yourself in the areas of makimg sense & making cents????????
Your “free” comments below still add great value.
Thank you.

Aidan Mc Nally from a little fishing village called Loughshinny on the east coast of Ireland in Co. Dublin. Aidan is a well traveled individual who has done so for work as a commercial fisherman and has enjoyed some of the most beautiful life has to offer. Writing came about when pains and sorrows and emotional turmoil struck hard in life; in the process of finding ways to deal with emotions while suffering and struggling with grief Aidan began writing out his thoughts and feelings. One day those writings became his first ever book and his memoir was born. TWO sons TOO many. Aidan then went on to further writing by reliving his own pains of youth and delivering an insightful coming of age memoir. 17 & Life. Having lived life around the globe the real navigation became about discovering himself and why he pained so much following the tragic loss of his two sons. Aidan delivered a quote / unquote Self-Help book where he discussed all that he has overcome and the way in which he found his inner resilience to follow his mantra of "Never Give Up". Layman's Handbook in Life. His writing continues through thought provoking blogging and a number "WIP" pieces while he enjoys the virtuous cycle of life now with a strong attitude of Aspire to Inspire. His living through traumatic experiences are things he openly discusses to aid his brothers and sisters to see the good in all they have come through and to motivate those who need a helping hand or comforting words through their own dark place. Aidan is no stranger to many items that many may never comprehend or experience and uses his worldly knowledge to serve better his fellow humans in finding the good in their life or situations. He knows too well there is good that can combat all, he calls it LOVE.
