Unleash Change: Perceive, Believe, Achieve Your Desires

How good is your imagination?

Can you see what others do not see and can you then use that to enhance or enrich your life?

I guess the point really is that if we can see it then we can make it happen. The lovely words we get to use around such concepts are, things like we must first perceive and then believe in order to achieve.

Therefore my imagination is a key element of whether or not I can bring about the changes I wish for myself to have, right?

We can delve back in to the positive and negatives of life and the distractions that present to us every day and see clearly (Not always clearly for everybody, I know). When we hear some bad news or a situation someone has gone through we can often here a response being “imagine” or “imagine if it was me”. So we jump to the concept of imagining when we hear something that may be negative of another person. How about we were to use the same imagination to factor in something positive all about ourselves? All we need to use is our very same imagination.

Perceive; In order for anything to come about in our lives we must see it. We must see it in our lives and feel how it feels first. Our perception may be clouded or full of distractions. Therefore having a clear and concentrated mind is of importance to bringing about what we want in our life today. This would be the reason in many of my previous posts I have mentioned the importance of meditation and a clearing of our minds. Granted, there are many things in life we have yet to ever see and cannot imagine and we may allow that kind of thinking begin to cloud our mind. In order to remain unclouded and free from distraction we will need some form of time we take for ourselves to bring about a clearer mind. The piece I always refer to as meditation.

The challenge I suppose is to ask now is, is it possible to think about only one thing at a time? Then after we master that can we bring about a little more intense focus on that one thing only, again without distraction? The meditation practice helps us to breathe through the experience and slows our blood flow down and helps to bring the mind to that one place where we can see what it is we are willing and ready to focus on.

Perceive is to see, how we see and what we see. In order to see best it is always a good idea to get into the best position and allow ourselves a full view perspective, right? Would you stand behind a tree on the street to see a parade? NO, obviously so then in order to see something in your life, you must get in to a good viewing position. That is the reason behind breath work and focus of the mind. You are bringing yourself in to the best viewing position. There are pages and pages to write to help you see how and what it is that is required, though for the sake of the blog post I am covering as wide an area in a few simple paragraphs.

Recap. Best viewing Position, Slow the mind down and focus, see clearly your own vision to enrich your life.

Believe; In order to bring about change for the better in our life we must first understand that we are deserving and we are able to make it all happen. We do not need the good breaks and helping hands from others. We possess the ability to make anything we wish happen. Yes, we do have limitations on us genetically though they are not as many as you may think. When we have focussed our vision and our perception tools are working fine we must then begin to feel how our new life feels. We must see ourselves in the position we wish to achieve and we then must believe with all of our being it is possible and can be a truth in our life. We must believe that we can fit and be suited in our new role. Whatever that role is for you?

Is believing in something just being delusional and nothing will ever happen? That may be so if you choose to think in that kind of way. This would be called a distraction and more doubting than believing though, wouldn’t it? When we believe it is possible then it becomes possible. That is the simple trick right there.

When we believe it is not possible then it remains not possible. Again, whatever “it” may be for you. An example to give you an idea, I wrote TWO sons TOO many, my debut memoir and when I was writing it I was doing some soul searching and piecing together my life and having a deep dive look back over everything. In the beginning I was struggling to understand reality. My look back brought me on a journey and I began to write it all down. As unbelievable as my life was then and the events and my reality, I found more and more unbelievable situations and scenarios that I had come through and I continued writing. Somewhere along the process became the notion of making this all in to a book and allowing people to read about my life. When did the whole thing change from an idea and some writing to a book that people would read?

Right about the same time when my mind shifted from writing notes and looking back over my life to when one day I had a thought that went something like this – “ I will make this into a book, a real life story and people will read my book all over the world”. And that was it, just like magic it changed and became a book that I would circulate all over the world. I can tell you that I have not sold a million copies of that book yet, though TWO sons TOO many has sold in over 22 different countries around the globe. And that all came about because I believed in the thought that I had and I did not deter from it in my thinking ever. This is one snippet of how I know these things work.

Believing in anything will make it happen for you. No distractions, a clear vision and true belief inside, in your fibres will make it all come through for you and come true too.

Achieve; In order to achieve we must then take our belief and put it to work. There are many steps we can take to achieve and some of the simple ones are by adopting strategy into our lives. Strategy in how we think, how we feel, how we eat and how we sleep and a whole bunch of rituals that can make it all happen for us. The simplest though will be to take our vision and as we hold on to it with firm belief inside of ourselves, we must put in some work. A morning ritual is a simple one to start with and a key element as it is usually the beginning of our day. When I wake up I will take a shortened version of meditation and draw a few breaths deeply, I will remind myself with a few words about what it is I am working towards and I will set about my entire day with determination of fulfilling my vision.

It is important we remind ourselves that whatever distractions come along in our day that we are doing each and every task with the same element of confidence that they all serve the greater purpose of fulfilling our vision for ourselves. The work must be put in though it does not have to be major had work.

This brings about a change in our life when we begin to see that we live on purpose and we live with intention. Yes I can sit back whenever I want to and I can allow my vision for my life drift away, again these are the differences about becoming focussed and serious about it all. When we begin to do all, even the little things on purpose towards the greater goal that we have on our mind, then we see the building blocks slowly coming together and our achieving becomes in reach much simpler. Baby steps are the way I like to describe this. Day by day and week by week we are living intentionally and with purpose to achieve that which we have set our mind to. The baby steps may require research on your part or a little homework here and there. These can be super easy to do because you are now practicing meditation to find focus on your vision and you are believing with determination each and every day and to catch the trifecta of it all you are now living with purpose and intentionally working towards that change for the better that you desire. Can you see how these simple little items all have power to bring about the change you so wish?

Baby steps of putting in the work to achieve your desires. Drive with intention, eat your lunch with intention and create a routine in your life that all daily tasks are completed with your bigger goal in mind ALWAYS!

Three simple steps made simple to help you change your life for the better.

  1. Perceive
  2. Believe
  3. Achieve
